About this page

Who is in space right now?

The list of crews in orbit comes from Launch Library 2 (The Space Devs), relayed by adastrum.fr and cached for 6 hours. For the next departures, see upcoming rocket launches.

Where do the mission cards come from?

The descriptions and images of the 16 missions come from Wikipedia, read at most once a week. Dates and upcoming milestones are those announced by the space agencies: they may change, and a milestone is marked as past 7 days after its date.

Where are the two Voyagers?

Their distance from the Sun is computed live from JPL (NASA) ephemerides and their nearly constant speed: about 17 km/s for Voyager 1 and 15 km/s for Voyager 2.
